Fact: French-Asian Cyber Transportation
 
 

Fact is a two-year collaborative action involving six Asian and French partners. It takes place in the framework of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Asia-France program.


  • Objectives: The objectives of this ICT Asia-France project are to advance the state-of-the-art technologies on an intelligent and environment-friendly robotic vehicle referred to here as Cybercar, through international collaboration, by taking advantage of the rapid growth of information and communication technologies, to promote the application of Cybercars to autonomous personal public transportation, referred to here as Cyber Transportation, in campuses, airports, tourist attractions, shopping malls and traffic/pollution-free residential and apartment complexes, to expand the concept of Cybercars and Cyber Transportation to Asian regions including China, Japan, Korea and Singapore, and to exchange ideas, research results and technologies to be outsourced among the collaborating partners through joint workshops, symposia, seminars, as well as exchanging researchers.
